Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about buying and using an eSIM for travel.
Getting Started
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a physical card, you scan a QR code to download a data plan. It works alongside your regular SIM — no swapping needed.
How do I know if my phone supports eSIM?
Go to Settings → Cellular (iPhone) or Settings → Connections → SIM Manager (Android). If you see 'Add eSIM' or 'Add Cellular Plan', your phone supports it. Most phones from 2019+ do.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can buy an eSIM with just your email address. Your QR code and details are sent to your inbox. You can optionally create an account later to manage your eSIMs from a dashboard.
Which countries do you cover?
The current catalogue includes plans covering 195 destinations, plus regional plans that cover multiple countries. Browse the destinations page for current availability.
Purchasing & Pricing
How much does an eSIM cost?
Prices depend on the destination, data allowance, and validity. Each destination page displays current plan prices so you can compare the complete package before buying.
What payment methods do you accept?
Checkout supports cards, UPI, and the wallet options displayed by our payment partner for your device and region.
Can I get a refund?
If your eSIM hasn't been installed, we offer a full refund. Once installed and activated, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for help.
Is there a subscription?
No subscriptions. You buy what you need, when you need it. Top up only when you want more data.
Installation & Usage
How do I install my eSIM?
After purchase, you'll receive a QR code via email. Go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM and scan the QR code. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.
Can I install the eSIM before my trip?
Many plans can be installed before travel, but activation rules can differ. Follow the instructions delivered with your specific package and install while you have a stable internet connection.
Do I need to remove my physical SIM?
No. Your eSIM runs alongside your physical SIM. Keep your regular number for calls and texts, and use the eSIM for data.
What happens when I run out of data?
Plans marked reusable can receive compatible top-ups from your dashboard. A plan without reuse support may require a new eSIM package.
Can I use the same eSIM in multiple countries?
A regional plan works in its listed coverage countries. For single-country packages, check whether the plan is marked reusable before assuming the same profile can be used again.
Technical
What speeds will I get?
Most plans connect to 4G/LTE networks with 5G where available. Speeds depend on local network conditions but are typically fast enough for streaming, video calls, and navigation.
Can I use my eSIM for calls and texts?
Most of our plans are data-only. You can make calls and send texts using apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Telegram over data. Your physical SIM handles regular calls.
Can I share my connection via hotspot?
Hotspot support can vary by package and device. Check the plan details or contact support before purchase if tethering is essential for your trip.
How long is my eSIM valid?
Every package lists its validity period. Activation and installation windows can differ, so follow the instructions supplied with the plan you purchase.
